what we do

tHE sOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY

lyceum

Learn skills related to full stack development, and product building. All under the guidance of our Headmaster. Mandatory for first semester.

Incubator

Work in pairs to build products and projects to launch them for usage at UNC and beyond. Under the guidance of our Incubator Chair, second semester onwards.

Social

Interact with the whole society weekly at Gatherings. Experience other social events like the retreat throughout the semester. Open to all members always.

Go from 0 to 1 on your developmental journey. Gain the foundational skills behind full stack web development, learn the lifecycle of a software product, and develop clean coding practices. Learn up to date technologies. We will teach you how to challenge yourself and accomplish what you didn't think was possible.

comMUNITY

Join a group of ambitious students interested in the technology space. Find a future cofounder, friend, or teammate. Form lifelong collections and become apart of something bigger than yourself.

This semester we have introduced the X Games competition. A friendly competition among members fosters a culture of building in the name of bettering ourselves and the community around us. Winners, selected by an external board of judges, can expect a prize for their efforts!
